I didn't learn about the world of pretty planning until this past summer! I've seriously been missing out my whole life! Pretty things make me soooo happy. So, when I learned that I could make my planner pretty, too, I jumped at the chance!
I started out using The Happy Planner by Me and My Big Ideas. I loved the idea of being able to take out the pages and add in whatever else I wanted to completely customize it to fit my needs. But the more I used this planner, I realized that I really didn't have that many things to plan that would fill up The Happy Planner. So I was just coming up with random stuff to do in order to fill it up. Holy crap! that was so exhausting.
I made the move over to a personal sized 6-ring planner binder. This particular one is a Webster's Pages Color Crush binder. I've been on the search for planner peace for years, y'all, and I think I have finally found it! I love the fact that I can still add and remove pages to make it fit my needs and add the customization that I want. But I really love the size of it! It has just enough room for me to write down all of the things that I need to remember and get done. But, best of all, it's portable! I can toss it in my bag and take it with me if I need it. (I almost always need it!)
This week I used three of my favorite planner sticker shops! The main decor stickers with the date headers are from My Newest Addiction on Etsy. I used her Navy & Blush Mini Kit. The "to do" headers and other large words and phrases are from a Create 365 sticker book made for The Happy Planner. They work for all planners though! The blue stickers that say "day off", "bill due", and the "tv" are from PlannerKate on Etsy! She makes the best mini and itty bitty stickers for personal sized planners! I just made a big order with her and I can't wait to share that with y'all!
This is only my second week to use this planner set-up and I'm really pleased with how it is working for me! I love mixing together different planner sticker kits to get the perfect set-up. At first I was worried that I would get too caught up in trying to make it pretty (it's REALLY pretty!), but it's functional, too! When I first started planning with The Happy Planner, I told myself that I would never, ever, be one of those girls that used stickers they had to buy from Etsy! (gasp!) I think this means I'm officially a planner addict! Down the rabbit hole I go! ;)
